What are the tips for using asphalt pumps?

1. Asphalt pumps are widely used in petroleum, chemical fiber, metallurgy, machinery, electric power, machine tools, ships, glass, highways and other industries.
2. Asphalt pump is suitable for lubricating oil and lubricating liquid for fuel oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, crude oil, asphalt and other similar oils.
3. The asphalt pump is used as a lubrication pump in the industrial field, as a hydraulic pump in the hydraulic system, as a conveying and boosting pump in the fuel system, and as a conveying and refueling pump in the oil conveying system.
4. The gear asphalt pump is suitable for conveying high temperature viscous liquid, dilute or thick suspension liquid, floating liquid, medium viscosity range 0.02 -15PaS, temperature ≤300 °C. It is suitable for transporting liquids in the range of 0.02-20pa.s in the chemical, paint, dye, grease, food, medicine and other industries. The temperature of the transport liquid is ≤80°C. 1. Asphalt pump is equipped with mechanical sealing device for cooling water. Before starting the machine, the cooling water should be turned on first, then the pump should be opened, and the cooling water should be observed regularly. It is strictly forbidden to run without cooling water.
Reminder: The asphalt pump should be cleaned of filters and filters every month for one year after installation to avoid blockage and cause the pump to fail to operate normally. Try to avoid using Y-type pipe filters (Y-type pipe filters have an effective area that is too small, affecting the flow rate of the feed medium, causing the pump to vibrate).
2. When transporting high-solidification medium, the asphalt pump should dilute the medium in the gear pump before stopping the pump to prevent solidification in the high-viscosity residual pump. If necessary, please use the cleaning solution and rinse it through the pump. 10 minutes.
When the asphalt pump is working, the viscosity, flow rate and pressure increase will easily cause the motor to overload. It is necessary to check the pressure gauge, safety valve and overcurrent protection device for normal values.
3. Asphalt pumps are generally equipped with pumps for the insulation device. Before starting the machine, the hot water (steam) is preheated, and the pump temperature is raised to the requirements of the transportation process. Stop the pump and turn off the hot water (steam) before shutting down. Tip 5: Newly installed pipes must be cleaned of slag and hard particles in the pipe to avoid entering the pump cavity during operation and damage the rotor, pump body, main and auxiliary shafts, mechanical seals, etc.
Regularly check whether the connections and fastening screws are loose. If so, tighten them in time.
4. The asphalt pump can adjust the gear gap according to the viscosity requirement to achieve the process requirements of the pump under different viscosity. The second advantage of the integral bearing housing is that the gap can be adjusted simply by turning the bearing housing. Easy to operate, no need to disassemble any parts of the pump.
5. Always check the gearbox oil mirror of the high-viscosity gear pump. If there is no oil surface, you need to add oil. The fuel quantity is half of the oil mirror.
6. If there is a small amount of metal impurities in the conveying medium of the asphalt pump, a magnetic filter should be installed in front of the inlet pipe.
